Coal Creek Little League
Registration Form - 2023 Season

Welcome to our new online registration system for the 2023 Coal Creek Little League Season. This form contains information required to register for Coal Creek Little League Baseball, serving both the Lafayette and Erie communities.

Coal Creek Little League, Inc. (CCLL) offers co-ed baseball to players of ages 6 to 14 that reside within our league boundaries, regardless of ability or previous playing experience. League boundaries include most of the City of Lafayette, the Town of Erie, and surrounding areas. You must live within our boundaries to play in our league. Check the map here for boundary information.
NOTE: If your child goes to a school within our district, they are eligible to play, but a school verification form is required. Please fill out this form and upload it upon registration. Wait Lists

If you are interested in a wait-listed program, please register to add yourself to the wait list. Payment will not be required until you are given a spot. Additional team formation is based on demand and field and coach availability. If you don't register we won't know that we need to consider opening additional spots. If you wait list prior to February 1st you will also avoid the late payment fee.

Payments

Payments can be made by credit card as well as by check.  A payment plan is available with monthly payments up until season start.  Additionally, players may be eligible for T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant.  And we are excited about another sponsorhip grant option from Dick's Sporting Goods.

 

Birth Certificates

Returning players do not need to provide a copy of their birth certificate if one has previously been provided. If you have not provided one, there are several way in which you can do this:

  1. Upload a scanned copy during the registration process below.
  2. Update your online profile by uploading a scanned copy
  3. Email a scanned copy to .

All-Star Tryout Registration

All-Star tryout registration will be posted towards the end of the regular season. This is open only to players who played in Minors, Majors, Intermediate, or Juniors during the regular season. Refer to our All-Star page for much more information.

2023 Rookies (6-8) Baseball Registration

The Rookies Division, with its emphasis on FUNdamentals, is our machine-pitch program designed for boys and girls aged 6 to 8.  This program is a vital part of a player's transition from hitting the ball from a tee to hitting one pitched by an opponent.  The Rookies Division program emphasizes fun and development over competition, but scores and standings are still kept.  The Rookies practices will begin in mid-March, and the season ends mid-June. There are no all stars for this division.  

Players must be born between 08/31/2017 and 09/01/2014.  For more information on the Little League age determination refer to our Registration FAQ or visit Little League's Age Calculator.

NOTE: For this division ONLY, we MAY allow coach requests and player/friend requests.  All other divisions players a drafted by coaches after player evaluations with the goal of balancing team competitiveness. Again, player/friend requests are subject to availability.

2023 Minors (9-10) Baseball Registration

Minors Division is a player-pitch league, and game scores and standings are kept.  Many of the players get their first chance to pitch to live batters.  The Minors Division is primarily for 9 to 10 year-olds.  The competition is more intense than the Rookie league, but player development is still the main focus.  Practices will begin mid-March; the regular season ends mid-June.  This division is eligible for All Stars.  All Stars tryouts and selection will be early-June. 

NOTE: Eligible players must be born between 08/31/2014 and 09/01/2012.  For more information on the Little League age determination refer to our Registration FAQ or visit Little League's Age Calculator.  Eight year olds can request to play in Minors and will be allowed to do so based on availability (9 & 10 year olds get prioritization) and ability.

2023 Majors (11-12) Baseball Registration

The Majors Division of Little League Baseball is for 11 and 12 year old players. It is played on a 60 foot diamond without base leadoffs.  This division is what you typically will see playing on television, in tournaments leading up to the Little League World Series.  Practices will begin mid-March; the regular season ends mid-June. All star tryouts and selection will be mid-June. Ten year olds can request to play in Majors and will be allowed to do so based on availability and ability.

2023 Intermediate (11-13) Baseball Registration

The Intermediate Division of Little League Baseball is a competitive program played on the 70 foot diamond which allows base leadoffs. Intermediate is a try-out only division, meaning not all players will be guaranteed a spot on an Intermediate team. Players not selected for Intermediate Division will placed on a Majors team (11 or 12 year olds) or a Juniors team (13 year olds) based on age.  Practices will begin mid-March; the regular season ends mid-June. All star tryouts and selection will be mid-June. 

Formation of the Intermediate Division is pending having enough interested players sign up. Should there not be enough players to form the division, players will be placed in their age-specific alternative (Majors/Juniors).

2023 Juniors(13-14) Baseball Registration

Our Junior Division program is designed to be the transition to the 90-foot diamond for high school and beyond.  This division plays baseball with very few modifications to Major League Baseball rules.  Designed for 13 and 14 year-olds, this program provides greater competition from Little League, including travel to nearby communities.  Practices will begin mid-March; the regular season ends mid-June.  All star tryouts and selection will be mid-June.
