Little League Colorado District 2 has announced a comprehensive umpire training clinic scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026. This hands-on training event is designed for both new and experienced umpires looking to enhance their skills.

The full-day clinic will run from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Northern Lights Little League's Rocky Top Middle School facility in Thornton, Colorado. Participants are asked to arrive by 8:15 AM for check-in, and lunch will be provided.

Comprehensive Training Program

This active, on-field clinic will utilize a regulation 60-foot Little League field to provide real-world training experience. The curriculum covers essential umpiring skills including:

• Field mechanics and proper positioning
• Plate mechanics and technique
• Timing and clear communication
• Game management and conflict resolution

Registration Details

The clinic is $40 per participant, but space is limited to just 65 participants. Pre-registration is required through Eventbrite, and walk-up registrations will not be accepted.
